The current wildfire devastation in Oregon might be the worst many in the state will see in their lifetimes.
With many homes lost, businesses destroyed and devastating loss of life, now many across the state are asking why this happened, and how to keep it from happening again.
Leading the topic of discussion — and a long-time subject of intense debate — is climate change. More…

I’m not anti-mask, per se. There, I said it. If you’ve been reading my rants, er, columns on the topic these past few months, you might get another idea though, and I understand that. It certainly SEEMS like I’m anti-mask, and you’d be forgiven for thinking that was the case. That doesn’t mean that I like wearing them, of course. They’re uncomfortable and stifling and, frankly, disgusting. Even so, I WOULD wear them, when necessary, if the arguments the mask-proponents used to con almost the entire world into accepting and even mandating the practice were actually, well, true. Ah, but there’s the rub, right? In fact, precious little of what these idiots say is ever true. More…

A Republican running for Congress in Oregon blasted his far-left opponent for a dismal track record in representing their district in a fiery new campaign video.
In the video released this week, Republican congressional candidate Alek Skarlatos declared that “Oregon is burning” as he called out Democratic Rep. Peter DeFazio, who has “been in office longer than I’ve been alive.” The 27-year-old former Oregon National Guardsman, hailed as a hero for his part in thwarting a terrorist attack on a Paris-bound train in 2015, now wants to represent Oregon’s 4th district in Congress.
“I’m not a politician. I actually hate politics,” the Oregon native said at the start of his video ad, explaining that he “had to do something” in the state that has seen months of violent protests and rioting in Portland and failed Democratic leadership in his district. Article and Alek’s blistering 3:28 minute video…

Speaking Friday afternoon on FNC’s Outnumbered, co-host Harris Faulkner gave an emotional plea on the 19th anniversary of the Islamic terror attacks on September 11, 2001, imploring views to remember the “connective tissues that we all felt when this happened” in these divisive times because “[w]e promised we would never forget and part of never forgetting…is remembering who we are in those big moments.”
Co-host Melissa Francis led in by telling Faulkner that this anniversary in 2020 “feels like even more than ever before we need this day, as sorrowful as it is, to remind us of the unity of America of the togetherness that’s possible.”
Faulkner replied that was where she was and stated that, every year, she sits in her family room and watches the anniversary coverage “and then I am there for hours,” including the readings of names as it included her uncle Eddie Dillard (who was on American Airlines Flight 77 that hit the Pentagon). Wrapping up a three-day tour in Chicago, Phoenix and Cleveland Friday, Attorney General Bill Barr took on the media during an exclusive interview with Townhall.
“They’re basically a collection of liars. Most of the mainstream media. They’re a collection of liars and they know exactly what they’re doing. A perfect example of that were the riots. Right on the street it was clear as day what was going on, anyone observing it, reporters observing it, it could not have escaped their attention that this was orchestrated violence by a hardened group of street fighting radicals and they kept on excluding from their coverage all the video of this and reporting otherwise and they were doing that for partisan reasons, and they were lying to the American people. It wasn’t until they were caught red-handed after essentially weeks of this lie that they even started feeling less timid,” Barr said on the flight back to Washington Friday afternoon. More…
